So many opportunities have come my way this past couple of months. Anywhere from speaking in front of students, experiencing my first time playing in a softball game, seeing friends with whom I spent Christmas, and finding out my assignment for the summer.
It is unbelievable whom God brings into your life and how they impact you. After seeing my friends with whom I spent Christmas break, I began to reflect on all that we had done together in Taiwan and how my friends, whether they realize it or not, influenced me. They continue to speak truth and encouragement to me even though distance separates us. I have learned to cherish every little moment you get to spend with each other and how important it is to make time to spend with God when you are together. I thank God for the fantastic opportunities He gives me even if they feel surreal sometimes.
The most magnificent moment that I had this past month was finding out that I will be serving again in Taiwan for my summer assignment!! This trip is such a phenomenal opportunity! It still blows my mind. Through all of these opportunities, God continuously reminds me how it is essential to take every chance that you are given to share the Gospel of Christ and what He has done for you.
I was telling a friend how my heart hurts for those who do not know the Lord. As we continued to talk, she continued to encourage me to see the need around me and to seek opportunities to us share Jesus. All the praise and glory of those opportunities should push us to give it to God.
Through all of these occasions, the Lord continues to prepare and shape me for what is to come. It is incredible to see how He provides for the needs of others and me personally with the opportunities He is providing ways to share my story to raise support and receiving support from many friends and family members. We are truly blessed with how God offers, no matter how big or small. He continues to be awe-inspiring with all He has done.
