Romans 8: 28
Romans 8:28 - “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.”
Since I was feeling God’s sense of calling me back to Taiwan (or wherever He wants me over the summer), this verse has been playing in my mind. It started when a girl in my group shared her favorite Bible verse at a bible study attended . As we continued sharing around the room , hers, Romans 8:28, continued to stay with me. On my list of stuff to do over the summer, on of the normally on my list is go to workouts for volleyball because the season begins in August. As God was calling me back, my first thought was “What about volleyball?”. Almost immediately after I thought that the Lord replied, “Volleyball doesn’t matter.” Those words hit me like a ton of bricks. He has it all under control. Because I love Him and am called by Him, He will continue to provide all my needs. The verse continues to pop up in texts from friends, messages, or blog posts I’ve been reading. God has this whole summer under control. He will provide a way for me to pay for it all. All the things that have a special spot in my heart,He knows! And He has taken care of them. As long as we love Him and are called according to His purpose, then we have nothing about which to worry.
